O Power Trio é formado por Gutje Woortmann, ex baterista da banda Plebe Rude, Fred Nascimento, que acompanhou nas guitarras
a Legião Urbana e Davi Duarte que fez parte das bandas Mauk e os Cadillacs Malditos. Em 92, Gutje e Fred formaram o Tantra que parou em 94 quando os dois seguiram caminhos diferentes.
Em 2019 se reencontram e solidificam a volta.
